What Amusement Park is nearest to you?

10 minutes from Lake Winniesauka Use to work there. I never go for full price anymore. I go to 2 for 1 Fridays now just for something to in the summer.

I don't consider Lake Winnie a real amusement park. It's a really old park to.
You live about 35-40 minutes away from me. Do you live in East Ridge?

Old doesn't begin to describe it.;) I'm terrified of those carp. They're about as big as I am.

Knoebel's in Elysburg, PA is a nice family park with great wooden rollercoasters! It's only 30 mins. away, and I've been there too many time to count. (Karen B...I still call it "Knoebel's Grove", too!)

We have Paramounts Kings Dominion 1 hour away and Busch Gardens Williamsburg 3 hours away.

Grew up close to Kennywood Park and Idlewild park outside of Pittsburgh,Pa Too many times to count over the years and still try to get back there a few visits each year.

Does the Las Vegas Strip count 2 1/2miles from our doorstep. It can get pretty amusing just people watching.
We have GrandSlam Canyon at Circus Circus Quite a bit of stuff packed into an AirConditioned dome.

DisneyWorld! And, no, we haven't been there enough!

For the longest time Paragon park was the closest to me about 20 minutes away!!! but it closed about 18 yrs ago and loved going here as a child!!

Now the closest amusements parks are Canobie Lake park in Salem NH about 1 hr and 6 flags new england(the old Riverside amusement Park)out in Agawam Ma
about a 2 hr drive

Wow-Paragon Park, haven't thought about that place lately! Used to go there as a kid after going to Nantasket Beach. I remember the Whip ride the best!

For me, Six Flags NE is about 45 minutes from here. I've been once since it was bought by Six Flags and only because our company picnic was there and it didn't cost me anything.

We are "vacation snobs" in this family and compare everything to WDW so are very disappointed with Six Flags. Even my older teen kids have never begged to go to Six Flags and have gone only on class trips.

We are 2 hours away from the "BEST" coaster

park in the USA...........
"CEDAR POINT". We are 45 minutes away from Six Flags also in Aurora,Oh but hardly ever go there. We have been to CP to many times to count, and even WDW coasters don't compare to Cedar Points.

Too Funny!!! But your not alone in this capacity.

Kings Island (80 Miles south of Columbus) Cedar Point (2 hours north of columbus) Six Flaggs worlds of adventure.:D

Another one for Seabreeze (15 minutes away) in Rochester, NY. It's right on the lake and it's a pretty nice "neighborhood" amusement park.

The other one is Six Flags Darien Lake (45 minutes) and we get there at least once a year.

Six Flags in Agawam, MA

DCA, then DL is about 100 yards away, if that...its basically a toss-up between those two...lol

The closest for me is 6 Flags in Agawam. It's about an hour and a half from my house.

DreamWorld followed closely by Wet 'n Wild:)

Two of them are fairly close. Dorney Park in Allentown is and hour away and Hersheypark is an hour and fourty five minutes away.

One hour plus from King's Dominion, 2 hrs plus from Busch Gardens. Wouldn't waste my time at King's Dominion. I get a season pass for Busch Gardens and go 3-4 times a year.

Six Flags Over Texas is closest to us. I take DS there during their Halloween celebration and that's it.

We're a little over 4 hours away from Sea World in San Antonio and we've actually been there more often than our local Six Flags. Sea World is a favorite. :)

I've heard nothing but good things about Kennywood and enjoyed the travel special that features it. We really must get there some day.

I live right by Silver Dollar City here in Branson- I had annual passes for most of my youth, and now people who work in the area get in free, so I've been about a billion times ;)
