I'm trying to decide on what amount of points we would need and what we can afford. Seems everyone wants to keep adding on here? ;) LOL
So, I'm wondering...
What increments of points can you add on if they are available?

I believe 25 is the least amount of points you can purchase for an add-on; you don't really have to purchase in increments. You can get 25, 37, 48, etc., but you have to buy at least 50 to get financed through Disney and 100 to be able to take advantage of Magical Beginnings (although some members have previously posted that they were offered MB for an add-on of less than 100 points).

We have added on 64 points via two 32 point transactions.

We have had 220 points at OKW since 1994 and just added on 50 points at HHI. This will allow us the 11 month window for HHI for 50 points/yr or back/borrow for 100points!.

In addition to the above question I would like to clarify the MB situation. In DVC's desire to finish off the sale of VB, not only can you get$15 per point of MB credit but you can get that credit on purchases as small as 50 points ($3450) rather than the 100 points needed elsewhere.

We just did a 60 point BCV add on, and may do one more 60 point add on before BCV sells out. I guess it's really true that you can never have enough points!

maybe DoctorP added 32pts 'cause that'd be just enough for 2 extra nights in an OKW 1-bdrm in Adventure season? ;) (or 4 extra nights in an OKW studio in Adventure OR Choice season)
just a guess.

We initially bought 232 points at OKW and then added on 70 at BCV. This ensures us 5 nights during the summer at BCV in a 2 bedroom every 3 years. Dh was a little upset when we added on initially but after visiting BCV was glad we did.:D
