What Am I Missing?

Long time lurker, first time poster here. Today is my 180 days plus 10, so at 6 am sharp I started looking for reservations. Nothing available for Be Our Guest for the entire day I will be at MK (Dec. 8th) for my party of two. I was also not able to get the early morning slot at Crystal Palace for that same day.

What am I missing, that I can't get these reservations on a low crowd day, at a slow time of year, 180 days out for a small group of two? Is it really that difficult, or is there something I don't understand about this process?

You just have to keep checking, ADRs change almost hourly with people making and cancelling them. You also might have to be a little more flexible with your schedule, can you go to MK on a different day?

Dining reservation system is flaky at best. Also lots of people on there 180+10. Keep checking. Some people have reported groups of BOG ADRs showing up well inside 180 days. We got our BOG lunch ADR inside of 90 days (we were checking every few days, and were flexible with which day we were going to MK at end of our trip).

Thanks for the replies. I guess I just was surprised that there was nothing available at all for the entire day. It does seem like it has to be something flaky with the system. I'll just keep trying I guess.

Keep trying, sometimes they open more spots or people change their minds. And definitely stalk the cancellation thread on here. I managed to score my BOG ressies just about two weeks before my trip last December due to someone dropping their reservations and posting about it.

It looks as though the dining site is having issues this morning.

I'm at 180+10 today, too. The site has been having tons of issues today!!! It doesn't show my +10 at all and the 180 day keeps freezing when I try to do anything. So glad I didn't stay up last night!

When I booked our BOG ressie for Dec. 8th, it was wide open!! But I booked it on June 1st.
Now it's 9 days later, & dozens of guests staying onsite for over 10 days probably booked it up. I didn't expect to get BOG for the first few days of our reservation!!
Many have reported NOT being able to book BOG until their 8th day or later.
Just keep checking for cancellations. Good luck

Dec 8th is difficult because it's a MVMCP and many party goers book dining from 4:00 to 7:00pm (so they aren't eating during the party). Of course, what the previous poster said is correct - many other guests have already been able to book Dec 8th for several days. Add all those together - makes for a tough booking day to get.

In the past, ADRs open as people change their plans and/or cancel vacations. Just gotta keep checking.

I believe LTT is closed for refurb and they haven't opened reservations up yet because they're waiting until closer to completion. That said, yes, ADRs have been very difficult to score!

Check for 2 parties of 1 for the counter service times. We needed to add a travel companion at the last minute, and we were able to get parties of 1 five minutes apart. We just went in like we were 2 parties, paid separately, and sat together. I bet you could even pay together.

Call them. I've been able to book things that don't show availability online by calling.

I wouldn't worry about it too much - keep checking. I snagged a BOG lunch on Friday, May 29th for Tuesday, June 2nd!
