Planning our trip for fall of 2014. We're hoping some extended family will be joining us. I'd like to present them with an estimated budge to work with so they can decide if they can afford to come. Help me brainstorm anything I could be missing.

Gas
Hotels on trip
Meals on the road
Rental at Bonnet Creek
Disney Parking
Park tickets
Meals in parks
Grocery trip
Meals at offsite restaurants
MNSSHP
BBB
Souveniers

Anything else?

Don't know how budget you are going, so FWIW:

Extra drinks/snacks in parks (if not packing in from grocery store).
Extra Disney experiences such as Waterpark tix, Photopass, renting bikes, dinner shows, spa treatments (for adult princesses - I see you have BBB covered), DTD movies?
Splitting cost of Tables in Wonderland card?
Off-site extras like Universal or SeaWorld?

Tips for Mousekeeping. I put money in one envelope per day before we leave home and just put one out each morning.

Tips and photopass! Great!

It will be a fairly "budget" trip, but not bare bones. I just want to give them a breakdown of costs of the standards (acomodations, food, transportation) and then say "here are some options of other things to do...." with some prices. We want to do MNSSHP, but we might not do BBB, depending on our funds.

Lots of sunscreen...bring it with you to save money but it's still not cheap. We go through a lot when we are there.

You might put the expenses in two columns. Separate out the expenses which are optional such as BBB.

How many miles will they be driving? If it's a leased vehicle will the miles driven cause them to go over their lease allowance. I'd skip the incidental car expenses if I was only driving a few hundred miles. A few thousand miles. They might need an oil change. If they're close to needing things like brakes and tires the trip might require having those maintenance items done before the trip.

Tight budget. Figure out about how much they'd be spending for groceries and restaurant meals if they stayed home. They really only need to budget the incremental expenses. Have meals in the timeshare. Should cost more then if they ate at home.
