What am I missing week of Feb. 2, 2020 - can't find a room

What am I missing? There isn't a room to be had the week of Feb. 2, 2020?

There are dance and cheer competitions 1/31-2/2 and 2/7-2/9.

Also sometimes it's looking for discounted rooms and will show unavailable even if there are rack rate rooms available.

Did you try both a shorter and longer number of days? I think sometimes that makes a difference.

I have bee looking that same week. Not a single value room available. Pp say to check back after the room blocks are released.

I just checked and found availability at several resorts. Are you looking for something for a large party (my search was for a party of 2 adults, 2 kids?)

You're about 60 days out, so it's really rather last minute. This is the current normal.

The “build your vacation” feature doesn’t always work. If you use that, it isn’t showing any rooms at all. When you get the result with all the hotels listed as no availability, click on any hotel. From there you can use the change feature & click “all resorts”. The real availability will show up.

Or you check under the resorts heading, and again click on any resort & search from there. Crazy Disney IT.

Also, clear your cache, cookies & history; virtually every travel & shopping site now tracks you, and "remembers" what you searched for previously, etc. Starting fresh can sometimes change the results.

I see 9 resorts available for Feb. 2 - 9.

The Super Bowl is in Miami on Feb 2. Not sure if that is playing into the lack of availability or not.

Also large numbers of Argentina 15s every February on Summer Break.

2/2 is also the date of runninguniversal’s event. For people who want to run but don’t want to stay there, wdw might be their destination.
