What am I missing about posting pictures?

I have been trying unsuccessfully to figure out how to post pictures so I can contribute to the virtual scrapbook.

When I go to the FAQ it says this about posting pictures:

As a member, you can create Albums of images that are linked to your public profile. Albums can be created by visiting the User Control Panel, and clicking on the 'Pictures & Albums' link, and then clicking on 'Add Album'.

So I go to my User CP and look for the Pictures and Albums link, and I can't see anything labeled Pictures and Albums. Is it because I'm such a newb and don't have my post count high enough to post a picture? It doesn't say anything about that anywhere in the FAQ that I can see. And if this isn't the case, am I looking in the wrong place? Where in the User CP should I be looking.....totally confused!

I have trouble doing it too...u think there woudl be an easier way...sorry I cant help...

you need to open up an account in "Photobucket.com" you then upload your photos to that site.
make sure you have the Disboards thread you want to post the photo on open in another window.
"copy" the photo link, then switch over to the disboards thread and hit "paste"....it will show the url info and when you hit the post button the photo will show up.
