What am I forgetting?

Inexpensive rain ponchos, if you are going at a rainy time of year. Also, some people wear them on the wet rides.

Make copies of your tickets in case they are lost.

I simply take a photo of the back of the ticket, just in case. :) Works great!

I feel like I put on ChapStick every 20 minutes so I can't live without that lol!

If you're going for a longer trip, you might want to make sure you have two different pairs of park shoes so that you can alternate if one gets uncomfortable.

Also, remember even if it is warm during the day, the nights can be cold so make sure you have clothes for both conditions!

Definitely take chapstick, I use Burt's Bees brand that is a sun protectant as well. I take 2 pair of shoes even if I'm going for 2-3 days. lol :)

power strip for the hotel
poncho
hat
sharpie for autograph book
earplugs and advil pm for sleeping
kids bathing suit for hotel
flip flops for water rides
blanket for sitting on at F!

I have a power strip that has 2 outlets and 2 USB ports, I take that. It works great for charging everything. :)

NOTE: This only works at Disney World, at Disneyland the tickets are not replaceable if lost. Sometime they will replace stolen tickets with a copy of a police report, but it is not common.

The exception to this are Annual Passes, which can be replaced for a fee.

This is incorrect, DL will replace tickets that have been lost or stolen and you don't need a police report.

Hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, I have a portable charger I take with me (although with my new phone I probably won't need it), a pen, as a PP suggested a small baggie with first aid stuff in it. Glow bracelets, and we normally have extras to share with others, hand sanitizer, water bottles, I know there are more but I can't come up with any.....lol

For the hotel : night lights, power strip with a long cord and/or an extension cord, Ziplock bags, plastic bags and a garbage bag or 2 if you will be in the hotel for a while.
Personally, I like to carry a travel size bottle of hand lotion. All the hand washing dries out my hands. Some wet wipes in case that turkey leg is too much for the napkins and the bathroom isn't close. Some kind of lip balm is a must too.

My absolute favorite thing to pack is a cheap over the door shoe organizer from walmart or the dollar store. I got the tip on a cruise board but it works great anywhere. It keeps all that little stuff from over running the flat surfaces of a hotel room. We throw brushes/combs, my daughters hair dodads, sunscreen, keys, my make up, medications ect. ect. ect. in it. Sometimes if I'm tight on luggage space on the way home I just leave it.

I also use one of these at home on the inside of my daughters closet for all those itty bitty toys and odds and ends she has like costume jewelry, bouncy balls, marbles. It works great.

Happy Packing

We have a Disney packing list that we keep in the documents file on our computer. Whenever a new idea or need pops up, we add it to the list. Then before each trip, we print out the latest copy and check off each item as packed. This has saved me many sleepless nights of worrying about forgetting something. I also keep a post-it pad and pen on my bedstand to jot down ideas that always seem to occur right before bedtime. (And I keep the list in the suitcase for repacking so we don't forget things in the hotel room.)

After a miserable trip where both my daughter and I got sick, I never travel without cough medicine.

I love the powerstrip idea! With 5 cell phones and 5 camera batteries needing charged each night, that idea will be a lifesaver!
