Ok I'm making a portable 1st aide kit to keep in our stroller while at the parks. Because my 2 yr old is just not coordinated and inevitably he will hurt himself..My 4 yr old isn't much better...and well...they get that trait from me!

So this is what I have packed: 2 ice compress (u crunch them they get cold and are reusable) Small box of bandaids (marvel comics sorry but boys love em!) neosporin, tylenol ES, Motrin, Immodium (free dining ahem), infant and childrens tylenol, extra trial samples of sunblock, and gas drops and teething gel for our littlest mouseketeer who will most likely be in the throes of teething when we go next month. :dance3:

Have I forgotten anything? :confused3

We also have a little soft sided cooler for the baby bottles/ frozen water bottles and baby food. I planned on putting ziploc baggies with wash cloths in cold water in there for wiping down if we got too hot. Honestly at the end of Sept. is it going to be necessary? I know it's FL and I've been down there during the summer many years ago but I don't remember it being all THAT bad...maybe it was and I'm just blocking it from my memory..

Ok well any suggested add ons are welcome!! Thanks!

It looks like you have a good pack of things set there. The only other thing I would recommend doing is bringing a bottle of frozen water (think poland springs size). Depending on where you stay, you can freeze it overnight and get it out of the refrigerator in the morning.

I recently went on a trip and noticed a friend using this with one of her kids. It doubles as an ice pack (even if it just is for comfort issues after a simple fall).

For on-the-run cleaning, I like those little packets of antibacterial towellettes better than neosporin -- I'd also add a little bottle of hand sanitizer.

(also, if you've got room -- I'd add dental floss -- I never seem to have it when I need it....LOL)

head to your dollar store and get some ponchos, for all of you and the stroller (if it hints of rain, esp in afternoon, cover the stroller when you park it -- it's still rainy season). also small fans, spray mist bottles (use drinkable water and the kids will spray it into their mouths and stay hydrated, and cool), maybe some small toys, glow-sticks for the evenings, etc. and little snacks.

sunscreen, hats and visors. also the blister bandaids -- the regular ones won't stay on feet in the heat and humidity.

there are first-aid stations in all the parks. use the baby stations for breaks when you need to.

I second getting the Blister Blocker band-aids. Regular band-aids just won't cut it for a hotspot or blister.
