What am I doing wrong?

Ok, I have seen on here where several people have called given the *** code and got the discount...
Here's the details of how I tried...
Called 1-407-WDISNEY

Entered my telephone number when prompted...waited for 5 minutes
CM answers-tell her I have a code *** (the one I am hearing is for 40%) and could she check availability. She said sure. Came back and told me a free ticket upgrade was available with package travelling by June. Ok, quite a different story than 40% off. I realize I have not legitametly got the code in my name (which makes no sense to me), so I can't be that upset, but I just don't understand how everyone else is getting the 40% without the email or card.

Any tips? What am I doing wrong here? Am I calling the wrong number? When I put in my phone number are they seeing there is no code tagged to me? Just wondering. Thanks!

I called the same # .. 3 times .. 3rd time I said I am interested in booking in August with that great 40% deal, is that available for me. She said SURE let's look. Where do you want to stay.
I told her WL or CSR

The first two times, they had NOTHING to offer me!

I've tried three times and no luck. I was told that there was no 40% off, that only certain people can get it (if there was one) and that there are no offers for the fall yet. I have even given the code- so graciously provided to me by a fellow Diser.
Disney says I can't have it.
I guess Disney doesn't appreciate my business over the years. I have been going since 1973.
I feel like the wall flower at a ball.
All I can say is you are not alone. There are alot of us who got Dissed.

Is your check in date within the parameters given?

And by now I would think some of the allocated rooms are sold out, so be willing to switch resorts if you still wish the discount.

My dates are in Sept and should be in the parameters that have been posted on here. However, the CM didn't even get to my dates. All she said is that code *** is a ticket upgrade...used by June, etc. I said well, my dates would be in Sept so that wouldn't work. I'd be willing to try about anything to get a good deal, but I don't even make it that far in the conversation.

Sounds like you have the wrong code. There are several. The free ticket upgrade is posted at MouseSavers and is code ZEY or ZFC. Neither of those codes is the 40% off code.

See the original post in the Everything You Need to Know About 40% Off thread .. it has a link to a blog that includes the codes you're looking for.

Also - some resorts and some dates are sold out on this offer. So you will have to be flexible probably if you want the 40% off...

Ok, thanks, maybe that's what happened. She didn't understand what I was saying...I did use the blog code, but...thanks, again. I'll try one last time. I've got to let this go; it's really bothering me.

When I called in -- I had to spell it out giving her a word for each letter of the code.. like Z as in Zebra and so on..
