I am confused and can't figure out what I was just quoted.

June 4-12 - POP
$99 + tax per night x 8 nights = $883.04

7 day base MYW ticket = 211.94 (including tax)
x 4 people = $847.76

Dining package - $35 per person x 8 nights x 4 people = $1,120

Resort - $883.04
Tickets - $847.76
Dining - $1,120
TOTAL - $2,850.80

But the price I was quoted is $2,274.48 including tax. So I'm confused. HELP. I'm sure I'm probably messing up on something totally obvious but I can't figure out what it is. THANKS!!! :flower1: :flower: :flower1:

I would take the quoted price and run. I think if they quote you a price and you book it, they have to honor it. Are you sure it's for 8 nights and not for 7 nights?

Well, I just check the price of seven nights and that price is $2600.42 so still more than what I was quoted!

Do you have 4 adults in the room over the age of 18? That could account for price difference.

But wait I just re-read your post and their qoute is less. Maybe they aren't counting an option for the MYW tickets (hopping or extras) or maybe they are giving you a discount on the room. Or maybe they are counting a kids price for some of the tickets or meals.

those are my guesses. I recenlty have a problem with them charing me for 3 adults in the room instead of 2. That made a big difference.

Liz,

Is it two adults, 2 children or something other. I priced it as 4 adults online, it came out to $3,048.88.

I'm calling them back right now to see if I can still get that same quote again.

Be careful! I have priced my darn ressie 3 times now and every time it changes my 8 year old to an infant causing the package to come up cheaper than it should be!!

This thing is full of bugs...

Isn't the price for juniors on Dining less than adults? $10/night or something?

That might account for the lesser quote from Disney, if you're counting all four of you at $35.

Juniors (ages 10-17) are same price as adults - children (ages 3-9) are $10 per night.

Are you using the same dates? I got two different quotes but one week fell dyring "value season" and the other was "regular season". Just a thought.

Bah! I thought I had it!

Crazy mystery numbers...

Well I was on the phone for about 30 min. last night with a very helpful CM who was trying to figure out how the first CM got the low, low price on the package. She tried everything and couldn't recreate it. The quote she gave me was in the neighborhood of $2,800. I wish I would have booked the first one and then later could have figured out how they got the price and what was wrong.

I was sure I was the one messing up (because I'm terrible at math)!

Thanks for trying to help me figure out this strange situation!
