What age does the term middle aged start being used? 30, 35, 40….?
That's probably true, statistically, but it's also somewhat in the eye of the beholder. When I was younger, I would have considered someone of my current age (55) to be pretty old, but it's really just now that I'm beginning to feel middle-aged. To someone who's 75, their 40's probably seemed like the prime of their youth.Definitely to 30. By definition it is usually 40 to 60.
Definition of the middle-aged
: middle-aged people : people between the age of about 40 and the age of about 60
True. I would probably think more 45-50 than 40. I am 52. I was reacting more to the idea of 30 being middle aged. That's probably true, statistically, but it's also somewhat in the eye of the beholder. At 50 it wasn't middle age you were feeling, it was old age onset.I always considered it 40.
But, I didn't start to feel middle aged until now, pushing 50.
AARP has been sending me things since I turned 20. That was 30 years ago.Mid 40’s.
At 50 you are old and AARP starts sending you things.
But it’s probably not 130… I think middle age is the middle spot between birth and death. I’m going with 40.I would say 45 to 65, then senior for anyone over 65.
Although, since we don’t know when we are going to die, we have no idea what our middle age is.
My daughter got her first AARP offer when she was 5.AARP has been sending me things since I turned 20. That was 30 years ago.
