I am so glad you said that, I forgot to add that money in our vacation budget!

Another thing- pick all the quarters and some nice pennies out of your change jar for pressed pennies. They are fun to collect and much cheaper than most things. I just don't count the quarters, so that way it is almost like they are free. Don't analize that statement, it is, as my DH would say, Disney logic. That is the same logic that I used when I booked a few extra nights at AKL when the discount codes came out. I was saving money after all...

lots of change for the toll roads. I always forget how many toll roads there are and never bring enough change!! Also don't forget to budget leaving your car at the home airport and paying to pick it up. I have started bringing a roll of quarters and about $25 in ones to start my trip just so I know I am covered for the small thing when I am leaving.

Guidebooks, new clothes (somebody always needs something - usually new underwear!), mister fans, moleskins, stroller and/or wheelchair rental, and we always have to have a new something or other - fanny pack, suitcase, collapsible cooler, portable CD player, whatever. Also new tapes and games to keep the kids busy in the car and if you're driving, an up-to-date atlas.

Here's an unusual one: Budget for vet stay or pet sitters for any pets you may have.

We leave our cats at the vet for $16 per night. On our first trip to DisneyWorld, I forgot to budget this and had to scrape up $250 to pick up our cats from the vet! Our vet doesn't collect payment until the end of stay, which really helps. But still try and budget that in.
