I just read the sticky at the top of the page about MNSSHP and activities at Downtown Disney on the 30 and 31st of October but what about the Boardwalk?

We have friends joining us for the Party on the 28th but they are staying for 4 days and want other ideas. Has anyone got any info on goings on at the boardwalk that weekend?

Thanks for any info. pirate:

Unfortunately, I don't know the answer about the Boardwalk, but we've been to Disney on Halloween night the last 2 years. Both times were GREAT!

If you have kids, it is the absolute best place to trick-or-treat. Last year, we resort hopped a little as many of the deluxe resorts offered trick or treating inside the hotels. Then we took a bus to DTD and they had trick-or-treating there too as well as music and various street performers. The atmosphere was very "cool" - kid friendly, not scary, but lots to see and do.

It was crowded everywhere, but not unbearably so. I think our kids will feel very let down this year as they have to trick-or-treat at home now :guilty:

Last October, we went to MNSSHP on the 28th and went to the boardwalk on the 31st. It was a really fun night! There's a kid friendly show. The host taught the crowd how do to a halloween version of the macarena. He was very good at getting the crowd going to the music. There are also various games set up as well as cookie decorating and a water station. I loved having that with all the candy we were eating! ;) There were about 8 trick or treat stations as well. You could get your picture taken with Mickey Mouse who was dressed up for Halloween. We were there for about an hour and then went back to Epcot to watch Illuminations. You'll have a blast. Disney at halloween is great!

Thanks for the information. We are going to be 4 adults but we all act like kids...

:cool1:

Anyone know about anything that goes on at Pleasure Island.

below is a blurry photo of Mickey at the Boardwalk on Halloween last year - We (four adults) went and watched a football game at ESPN that night - the activites at the boardwalk seemed very focused on kids - where as MNSSHP was fur for all - if I had a choice (and an unlimited budget - I would do MNSSHP twice instead) - HEHE Have fun!

sorry the photo is blurry - but he was cute - I wish I went up and had my photo with the mouse dressed like this - but I didn't want to barge in on the kid party :)

I go to Pleasure Island but I generally don't leave the Adventurers Club. Lots of costumes wandering the streets (with people in them). They seem to have some street performers around there, too. The AC has special Halloween themed shows.
