What about the YC?

We have stayed at the BC three times and the BWI many times, but have never tried the YC. We're thinking of staying there during our next trip in May ~~ definitely want the BW area since we really like being able to walk to MGM and Epcot.

When we were there in January I noticed that there was scaffolding up on one side of the YC ~ anyone know if that will be done by May? Have the rooms themselves been "refreshed" recently?

We will book a waterview room and put in our request for full lagoon view since I know that some of the waterview rooms are pretty angled and you don't really have a 'water' view. Do all the rooms have full balconies?

Thanks for any input / tips you might have for me on the YC.

I stayed at the YC last summer and loved it! I do believe that the referbishment of the exterior will be done by May. Even if it isn't they were working on it when I was there in Aug. and if I hadn't already known it was going on I never would have noticed it. I think it has been two or three years now since the rooms at the YC have been referbished. My room was very clean and fresh looking, I was very pleased. All of the rooms do have full balconies or patios. I don't have any advice on the waterview rooms though, we lucked out with a wonderful view. I hopw you enjoy the YC as much as I did!

Just back last week, awesome resort! Booked std view, upgraded to full lagoon view, room 3063. Had the lighthouse to our left, boardwalk straight ahead. Two pillow topped queens & a daybed, full balcony with chairs & table. Great room, very clean. Could see the scaffolding as we walked out but thn kthe painting will be done soon
