I have been reading the thread about Ohanas going downhill lately, but I am wondering is it the same for the Character Breakfast? We are scheduled to there on our last morning. My son is really looking forward to the Lilo and Stitch theme for this breakfast. Many of the complaints seem to be about being rushed, but isn't this one a buffet? Any reviews would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Marsha

We ate at Ohanas for breakfast in January and had a wonderful time. For some reason, during that trip, our DD (6) decided that Stitch was her favorite character and she gave up an Akershus Princess breakfast for Ohanas!

Anyways, the atmosphere was great, the service was outstanding, the characters were magical and the food was delicious. We were not rushed at all. Maybe it was a slow day, but each character (Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, Pluto) came by twice to our table. Our server kept asking if we wanted more and even brought me some coffee to go.

Highly recommended!

We stumbled upon O'Hana's desperately looking for something different than food court. It was wonderful. And although I wouldn't try this, we got in with no ADR with little wait. It was wonderful, from the food to the characters. I'm sure you will enjoy it.

We ate at Ohana on Saturday. It was pretty good. We called for ADR's on Friday night after we realized we still had 7 TS credits left. We used them for breakfast and bought breakfast for another family with the remaining 3 credits.

Now I want to stay at the Poly!

We ate here on 1/13 and loved it! We had the first adr of the day and had tons of time with the characters. The waitstaff played with my baby and talked to my older daughter. They were so great we joked that we'd leave the kids with them and head off to the park by ourselves! The food was good, and we were never rushed. My only complaint, and this is just a pet peeve, is that my waitress constantly used the word, "we". "How are we today?", "Do we have enough waffles?", "We look like we could use some more bacon." That drives me batty!!! Other than that, superb!!!

We did the Ohana breakfast before Lilo and Stitch were there and loved it! Its not a buffet, everything is served family style, just like the dinner. It is all you can eat, and the waitress we had was wonderful. We never felt rushed and we had no problem refilling our food! I'm thinking about this one for our next trip.

We have this planned for our last morning as well. I'm glad to see the positive reviews. Can't wait to try it!! :stitch:

Loved it, but lighting ruined most of our photos  Consider this when you are being seated. DH asked that our kids be put in different chairs, but of course CM said those were the ones characters would have access to. This year we will wait until a table on a different side of the room is available!
