What about laundry?

Hello folks!

Because we're trying to conserve luggage space, we're going to try to pack light for our upcoming trip. Being able to laundry will be critical to that packing ideal (not that I *like* doing laundry, mind you!). So, any suggestions about how to get that task accomplished without spending a huge amount of time/money in the process?

We're staying a couple nights at the Newport hotel and then three nights at Explorers (which emailed me and said that they don't have laundry facilities, but there is a dry cleaning service available--seems more than we'd need).

Thanks!

The Admiral's Floor has a Laundry facility as part of the consierge service, but I'm afraid I can't remember the prices. There is a launderette onsite at either the Cheyenne or the Santa Fe.:)

You could allways do what I do on holiday.

Buy new t-shirts then you get a souviner and save space (going out at least :rotfl2: )

LOL...you sound like you've been talking to my kids! :dance3:

Our goal is to have a rolling bag for each of us, and I'm seriously considering packing a duffle or two in addiition for whatever else we happen to accumulate along the way. The big limiting factors are being able to handle our bags on Eurostar *and* then fit them into a rental car while we're in the UK (never mind the whole 'shlepping them up flights of stairs in our London hotel' part....) :rolleyes1
