We will be going to US for the 1st time this summer. We are very familiar with the food choices at WDW but not at US. Can you tell us some of your fav choices for TS and Cs at US?? Thank you so much :goodvibes

For counter service lunches we like Richter Burger in Universal and Thunder Falls Terrace in Islands of Adventure. For sit down meals we love Finnegan's in Universal and Margaritaville that is part of City Walk. The prices at all of these places are very reasonable and the food is really good. Also, if you are AAA members you can show your card in both parks and get a 10% discount at the restaurants, shops and snack carts. Most of the City Walk restaurants also give the discount with a few expections (Emerils and one or so more).

Mythos, Margaritaville, Tchoup Chop, Finnegan's Pub (TS)
Louie's, Cafe LaBamba (when it's open) (CS)

CityWalk - Margaritaville and NASCAR

Studios - Louie's for counter and Finnegan's for sit down

IOA - Thunder Falls Terrace for counter and Mythos for sit down

That is my choices also!

The only thing I would change is at CW and add Latin Quarter!!:thumbsup2

I enjoyed my chicken rotisserie meal at Thunder Falls Terrace in IoA. I had to wait in line for 20 minutes on my visit over Easter weekend. Not a horrible wait, but it looked like all of the other restaurants were equally busy. I'm curious to find out if the dining options are able to accommodate the extra influx of guests for HP without causing extreme wait times.

I always get the chicken wrap w/fries...yum! In fact...I might just run over there tomorrow and have that for lunch. :thumbsup2

Our next visit is the 26'th and I will be enjoying the same..

Do any of the sit-downs take reservations? If you are staying on-site do you get seated any quicker for the TS places?

Table Serve:
USF--Finnegans
IOA--Mythos
Citywalk--NBA City, NASCAR Grille, Bob Marley's, Latin Quarter

Counter Serve
USF--Richter's (burgers), Louie's (pizza), Boulangerie (sandwiches & pastries)
IOA--Burger Digs, Thunder Falls, Pizza Predattoria (personal pizza), Blondie's (incredible sandwiches, often overlooked, but soooo good! :worship:), Cafe 4 (pizza slices), Croissant Moon Bakery (pastries)
Citywalk--Moe's, Pastamore Express, Cinnabon

We like the pizza and Caesar salad at Louie's in USF and we usually eat at Bubba Gump's or Margaritaville when we want TS.

:)

Which of these cs are on the food plan that Universal offers?

Oh rub it in dd352.

For me:
Citywalk - Margaritaville and Hard Rock Cafe (both TS).
IOA - Mythos (TS)
US - Finnegan's (TS) and Louis' (CS) (honorable mention - Nathan's hotdog stand in Amity (CS))

Which of these cs are on the food plan that Universal offers?
Meal Plan:
IOA: Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous, The Burger Digs, and Comic Strip Cafe
USF: Mel's Drive-In, International Food & Film Festival, and Louie's Italian Restaurant

Meal Plan:
IOA: Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous, The Burger Digs, and Comic Strip Cafe
USF: Mel's Drive-In, International Food & Film Festival, and Louie's Italian Restaurant
Of these...I would suggest either The Burger Digs or Comic Strip Cafe at IOA and Louie's at the Studios.

CS we really like Mel's Diner, and for TS we like Confisco's, Margaritaville, Bubba Gumps, and Pastamore. We also really love The Kitchen for breakfast at the HRH.
