What about DDP for breakfasts?

Okay, I'm new to all this and will most likely be getting the plan.

But will this work for breakfasts? We are using one of the Table Service times for the Ohana Breakfast, but what about at other places, like even our Artist Pallette in SSR? It is listed as a Quick Service Location, but how do would they figure in dessert...for breakfast...can you just take one to go?

I think they have yummy breakfasts!

Okay, I'm going backwards, but NOW I decided to read the FAQ. It says that for breakfasts, dessert is NOT included...bummer.

I'm confused as to why I need to buy park tickets. We are planning on using the balance of 10 day no expiration tickets...you mean, now we have to buy another day of park ticket?

no deserts with cs breakfast on dining plan. I thought it pretty pathetic when they are giving you less food, cheaper food, then no desert because it isnt typical to have desert for breakfast. I nice piece of fruit (allowable cs desert at lunch/dinner) purchased with breakfast as 'desert' is probably pretty typical for OOP'ers but whatever it's still plenty of food.

Dont forget too that other posters have reported using snack credits to get boxes of donuts or other items and using them for breakfast. We dont eat a lot of breakfast so we just took a bunch of granola bars and snack cakes (we went prior to the new snack credit expansion) but i often had a desertless/fruitless but very very enjoyable waffle and bacon for breakfast before the rest got up at my hotels food court.

TO get the dining plan you must have a package to have a package you must be purchasing room+tickets TOGETHER.

Thanks all, I think I found my answer about the tickets, we are DVC Members and somewhere in the FAQ it says members have it differently, we don't have to buy the admission ticket. Guess I'll call MS on Monday and get it all cleared up. It also said, that I can order the meal plan, but not have to actually PAY for it until check in. Hope so.

DVC members (and perhaps everyone else) cannot yet order the Dining Plan for reservations starting in 2007.
