I'll be there 1-18 thru1-25 as a single lady. I'm booked at ASMo and the CRO CM convinced me that I should stay in the Dalmations Buildings. Will I be run over by lots of little ones and massive families (I can already picture these 6 YO girls all giggly and nutty about the place)? Would the Love Bug Buildings be a better choice for me (they're a little bit back and out of the beaten path, if there is such a place in WDW)? I love kids. I just don't want to be in the throng of grade schoolers every night.

There are kids at the resort, but I have stayed there 3 times. Once in Dalmation, Once in Fantasia, and once in Toy Story. Honestly, I don't really notice zillions of kids. I have never had a problem with noise. If it were me, I probably wouldn't worry about it. I would rather be closer to the main building anyway.

The rooms are small, so since you will be the only one you should have plenty of room.

We are going to the Contemporary next year because now that the kids are getting bigger, we noticed that the room at the movies is getting way too small!

For the money its a good value!

Dalmations tend to have more children in them. You're right about the Love Bug having less. BUT why not consider Mighty Ducks? It has the advantage of being to the rear of the resort and is quieter like Love Bug. There's a pool and laundramat there. Ducks is a short walk to the All Star Music bus stop and handy at peak times when you want a seat on the bus instead of standing

I agree with Andrew. My first stay was in Mighty Ducks. It's the farthest from the food court, but really not a long walk. And it has a quiet pool. I didn't notice alot of noise, but then my room wasn't facing the pool.

Solo this trip, I was in Love Bug 7, I could cut through one of the Fantasia Buildings and get right to my stairs. In April, I was in Mighty Ducks. Here is my comparison. Mighty Ducks, all the way in the back, I am gald we had a car, I would not have liked the walk from check in. Since it was like right next to the main Music building, we walked over there for the bus. Love Bug was an easy walk from the main Movies building, so I finally got to see the food court and gift shop. Both times were "slow" weeks, there were a lot more kids in Dec, but as it was a little chillier, they didn't seem overwhelming. The only time I got "bugged" was when I was waiting to leave, I sat in the little movie theatre waiting area, several parents seemed to think that it was acceptable for both to wait in the check in line and let the cranky, loud kids scream and run and generally behave poorly in the lobby. (Not all of them, these were the kids who were not having fun). I think for the $, any All Star is great, you are on the property, the bus service is really good at these resorts, no long waits, dedicated routes to and from each resort (at all times when I was there 1st week of Dec), I ate breakfast at the food court once, the food was fresh and well prepared, I used my refillable mug a lot (got my money's worth out of this one). If you use the food court at prime dining times, you probably will be in a throng of kids, but during that time of year, I would think it would be a "small throng", if there is such a thing.

Have a great trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
