We are French and we have a DVC contract (from resale).
We originally booked a 2 week hotel for Halloween and had purchased 10 day tickets as annual pass were no longer on sale.
We had to cancel this trip due to border blockages.
We then booked 2 weeks of DVC hotel at Disney World from February 05 to 19, 2022.
When the annual pass became available again, we requested that our 10-day tickets be changed to annual pass.
We called Disney, and the cast member on the phone had did not want to do it, telling us that we would lose our park reservations and that we could upgrade our tickets on the spot.
What the adviser told us turned out to be false since a little before the Christmas period, the sale of annual pass was again suspended for "the holiday season" according to Disney.
Unfortunately, we had to cancel our stay because the conditions for returning to France were complicated due to the health situation (this is no longer the case since this week).
We have therefore booked our DVC hotels for a second 24-days stay in July, a two weeks stay for next christmas, and two weeks for spring 2023.
We still want to upgrade our 10-day tickets to annual passports.
Outside, we still have no information on the date of resumption of sales of annual passports while the very busy holiday season has long passed.
This situation is truly inappropriate on Disney's part. If I am a DVC member, it is to do many stays with an annual pass!
Does anyone know when annual pass will be on sale again?
