Last year DBF and I went to 1900 for dinner, and we really werent impressed, this year we are taking his Grandma, and his 7 year old cousin who LOVES breakfast. Cape May didnt have a ressie that would work for us so i went with 1900 for their breakfast buffet. Any comments on what type of food and the quality? Is it more than waffles and pastries like the site shows?? Thanks!!!

It's pretty standard fare.

Cereals, pastries, waffles, eggs, potatoes, omelets, bacon/sausage, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal.

They do have a couple of unique things like lobster eggs benedict and the infamous strawberry soup (which tastes like melted strawberry ice cream to me and is not a favorite, but gets raves from some folks).

We just got back from WDW. For breakfast, we did both 1900 PF and 'Ohana. 1900 PF was our fave meal out of all of our TS meals. I loved the strawberry soup and the character interaction was great. Tigger was even there, which was a bonus since he wasn't listed on the site.

I think it is worth going just for the Pecan toffee cinnamon scrolls!

I went there for breakfast last year for the first time, and it is on my list to go again next year - just so I can have the scrolls! mmmm - so good!!

We ate there for the first time last June, and enjoyed it.

The food was good - I really like the strawberry soup, and the characters were fun.

But 'ohanas is still our favorite. It is just a bit more fun.
