On Friday we travelled down to blackpool for our nephews 18th. It usually takes us 6 1/2 hours but with traffic and roadworks it took us 8 hours. We thought that was bad but nothing compared to the journey home........ We broke down on the motorway at Penrith. The RAC came and after them looking and trying to fix we were taken to a local garage. They couldn't fix it so we had to get another car and the RAC are bringing the car home today. Apparently the alternator has gone:scared1::scared1:. So our journey home took us about 10 hours and we never got home until midnight. I'm just glad that we never had the kids with us as it would have been an even worse nightmare with them.

Roadworks are never fun... but to have the car die on you on the way back.. that's just really harsh!!

Hope you get it sorted out soon!

 Sorry to hear about your nightmare journey .. but I hope you enjoyed your nephews 18th

What a knightmare, hope the car is fixed soon:hug:
