Well been a busy week, ups and downs.

Monday fine at work, nothing interesting

Tuesday rest day, so took DD to the pics to see over the hedge.

Wednesday rest day, so chilled out at home with DD, i get good news on the job front, then out for a bike ride.

Thursday School trip to the beach, great fun, (teachers got to see DD temper, and boy they were shocked)

Friday report day, very good report, so we offered DD to go to the shops in the morning for a pressie.

Saturday this is where it turned bad, 5am, DD wakes complaining of a headache, we send her back to bed, she decided not her bed ours fair enough. after breakfast and bath, she states she has a headache so i give DH the calpol DD totally fights it, and it ends up on the floor.

Then 10 mins later still complaining of a headache i try with the medicine, i did not get the lid of the bottle, when she to be sick, ummmm, something not right here.

DD still ensisting she is going to the toy shop, DH needs petrol, so we head out for fresh air, we look around the supermarket, i decided to have a look at alergy medicine for DH has her nose is still running, (coming upto 10 weeks now)

Oh dear a rash is starting on her face, and she is burning up.

Straight to the walk in clinic where we sit for an hour, by this time DD is becoming hotter and is very clingy.

Gets seen, rash looked at, then it seems to appeared on her back, DR sends us the childrens ward at the hospital Thankfully it is nothing :thumbsup2

It did take 4 of us to get calpol into her, with the odd kick in my face :)

Sent home.

Wakes up early again this morning, wanting a drink, 2 sips and she ran straight to the toilet to be sick, rash has gone now.

So I am hoping this is the start of chicken pox

So glad this week is nearly over.

What a week ~ Poor wee soul though :grouphug:

l hope your DD is feeling better soon. When my two DS's started with chicken pox the only sign was one blister on their bodies, no other syptoms and they seemed fine in themselves. By the end of the day they were both covered in them :sad2:

Hugs to you all. Headaches, sickness and rashes thank God it wasn't meningitis, that was always my worry when the boys were ill.

Hope your DD is feeling better real soon :wizard:

Hope you feel better soon too, Michelle, chest infections can be really painful - ice cream is very important :wizard:
