Needless to say, we were very tired by the end of the week. But we had a blast and did most everything we wanted to. I'd be glad to answer any questions anyone might have.

Sounds like you had a great time!! Makes me want to make plans...think I will get family together tonight and see if Disney will be our trip this summer (I HOPE SOOOOO). Thanks for sharing your trip:D

I have been to Disney World 4 times and have never ridden Peter pans ride. The wait was always over an hour long and dear honey would never wait that long for a ride. Think someday I may get to ride it?

Did you find that it worked out better that did multiple parks each day?

yes, absolutely! I feel that in most situations a whole day in each of the parks is too much of something. MK is too much riding (although we did it one day), Epcot is too much walking, MGM is too many shows, and AK (IMHO) just doesn't take a whole day. Once again, being there at the rope drop is HUGE! I would suggest going from opening til around noon, then hop to another park (and possibly eat lunch off site) and be there from 3:00 til close. We also noticed that by the end of the days, many rides were walk ons. But most importantly, have a plan! My crew teased me about having everything planned out, but in the end they were very glad because we got so much accomplished!:D

Please tell me about Pocahontas and Her Forest Friends (training show). I've always planned on seeing it and am determined to do so next trip. Do you know it was a training show?

Yes, it was definitely a training show. We happened on it by accident. We were headed to the Festival of the Lion King when a CM practically grabbed us and said we should go see the Pocahontas show. It was the first show of the day, and they assured us we would be out in time for the Lion King (which we were). I've never seen the actual show, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but this was "hosted" by a CM who apparently is an animal trainer of some sort. They showed us different tricks the animals do and how they teach them, and Pocahontas does make a brief appearance. It was very interesting for my DD7, who absolutely loves animals. It was really like a "behind the scenes" show.

topcat011-

Next time you go to WDW, get a Fast Pass for Peter Pan's Flight. Then you won't have to wait in an hour long line- go see Mickey's Philharmagic, It's a Small World or have lunch...by the time you're done doing a few other things, it will be your return time to go on Peter Pan! (Be sure you do this early in the day though- as the afternoon goes on, they could run out of Fast Passes).

Thanks for posting, ya'll sure did alot of Park Hopping, glad you had a great trip.:earsboy:
