Ok, just finished watching The Princess & the Frog and I LOVED it!! One of the best Disney movies in a while. Makes me want to be in New Orleans!!!:lovestruc

We SO wanted to see this movie over the Christmas holidays!

Since my kids are now teenagers, they wanted to go with their younger cousins (ages 10 and 7), because, you know, it is uncool for teens to go to Disney cartoons . . ..

Well, younger cousins instead picked "Alvin and the Chipmunks - The Squeakquel" (WARNING: Stay away from this movie - it will turn your brain into mush). They apparently have no taste.

By the time we got back home, the theaters were no longer showing The Princess and the Frog. Sadly, I think it did not do very well at the box office. Which is really a shame, since I was hoping this would revive the art of hand-drawn animation for full length features again . . . :guilty:

I loved this movie!!!!! I have the soundtrack in my car and listen to it all the time. It seems like it will take forever for the DVD to come out! I know it's only March 16th, but I want to watch it now!

I thought it was really cute! I took my 2 little sisters. When does it come out on DVD?

I think you're right...it did not do very well at the box office.

And as far as Alvin goes....OMG, it was horrible. Zachary Levi did a horrible job taking the reigns in that movie. It's a shame because the first Alvin was really, really good. If they make another sequel, they better pay Jason Lee any amount he might ask for - just to get him back in!!

I loved the movie, too! I'm not sure what it takes these days to call a movie a blockbuster, but it did rake in over $100 Million in the US alone. popcorn::

My friend and college acting buddy from back in the old days, Michael-Leon Wooley, played "Louis" in the movie, and I have to say, I thought he did a fantastic job portraying that New Orleans gator.:thumbsup2 His voice is just like velvet. I heard Louis is now a character at Disney World. Cannot even imagine what that must have felt like....I just know I'm very proud of my Maryland friend and Disney for putting out another great family film!

Yeah, I heard that about the box office take too. and I'm disappointed for the same reason.

I love having nieces & nephews so I can see Disney movies. They wanted to see Alvin too, but I told them that Princess came first, which they were OK with.

I love this movie. We saw it twice, I think I liked it even better the 2nd time!

We loved it too!! I thought it was one of the best movies I've seen in a while. Hmm, seems I feel that way about most Disney movies ....

I LOVED this movie and I am not just saying that!!!!!

I do wish more people would have seen it too. I think the marketing was mis-directed as a lot of little boys didn't want to see this movie because of the Princess bits. But, the boys who did see it loved it.

I think it will do stellar in DVD and here's hopes everyone buys or rents it to see just how good the animation is done in this movie.

Oh man, we loved Princess & the Frog. Even DBF (who says cartoons are for kids but cried as much as I did (and still do) when we watched UP! LOL) liked it a lot. It was definitely a great movie, can't wait to get it on DVD!
