Just returned home from our two weeks stay at The All Star Sports resorts and although we have stayed there once before and throughly enjoyed it, this time was so different. We were allocated the touch down block which at first we thought was fantastic, right by the pool.
Just as you approch the touch down playing field there is a big sign saying please respect the quiet time for guests between the hours of 10pm until 10am. Well every guest who was staying there did, but not the maintainece guys who decided for the whole two weeks they were there to paint the flags on top of the touchdown block.
Every morning with the exception of the weekends they were using their hydrolic (sp) lifts to get up and down these buildings, and a lot of the time no sooner had they got up then it started to rain and back down again they came. They would start at about 9am each morning.
Now dont get me wrong most mornings we would leave early for the parks, but there are some days you do like to have a restday and boy were these machines noisy. Finally to top it off on the weekends when they were not there they decided to trim the hedges and mow all the lawns just as early in the morning. Oh well I suppose it has to be done, must remember to take ear plugs next time.
