Hi,

Sorry I have not been around too much.
It's all been a bit much recently.

Found out a month ago I was pregnant.
Great news, and we were both really happy, even though we hadn't been trying.

Then after 3 days, I started getting bleeding.
Went to the docs, he said he couldn't tell at this early stage if it was normal bleeding or the start of a miscarriage.

Ended up having some early scans as the bleeding continued.
The scans showed that the sac was empty so I had lost the baby.

I decided to miscarry naturally, and last night it happened, after 1 month of knowing I was pregnant.

Also, my Sister and her DH are splitting up, so my poor parents have had so much worry what with me and my Sister and our problems.

The miscarriage was quite painful, but I am glad it's over now, and we can try to move on and look to the future.

Our holiday to Disneyland Paris is only 2 months away so I am trying to focus on that, and we are going to start trying for another baby in Oct/Nov time when my body has had time to recover.

I should be around a bit more now.
Need to start planning my DLP trip!

Sorry about your sad news, I really hope you have a special holiday and wish you luck :tink:

Sending you :grouphug: at your sad news. Glad that you are looking to the future, only better things ahead.

My brother and his wife had a similar experience last year, with an unexpected pregnancy, and then a miscarriage.

They did exactly what you are doing...taking a Disney trip....then when they got back they tried again, and now baby George is 3 months old!! :thumbsup2

So from being totally shocked at being pregnant, to the very sad loss, to trying again and everything working out fine in a few short months.

Fingers crossed for you, that it works out the same way, and deepest sympathies for recent events.

You have been incredibly brave and talking about it is a step in the right direction, please rest and relax, and we're here when you need us. I think you will deserve your trip by the time you get there.Sending you lots of :grouphug:

The trip was booked ages ago.
When we found out I was pregnant we were going to cancel it as I didn't want to spend all that money and not be able to go on any rides.
But we decided not to cancel it until we got past 12 weeks, but now we have lost the baby, we are glad we didn't cancel it so we have something fab to look forward to.
We are off to Kos in October for a week too, so we might start trying then.

Thanks for all your kind messages.

So sorry to hear your sad news. Much :grouphug: and :wizard: Keep your mind focussed on what a wonderful holiday you'll have and when it comes around relax and enjoy it.
