What a month... a bit of a rant!

Well August has been a bad months for us. Firstly we found out the the lady who rent our house from wants to sell when our lease is up in October. My Nan has been very ill and was taken into hospital last week with suspected Thrombosis. She has now been let home and they don't know why her legs are so swolen?
Then we had a big meeting with Martyns solicitor (Martyn was in the army and due to a car crash 4 1/2 years ago and was Discharged from the army on Medical grounds). We have a claim in against the girl who caused the accident, and we were hoping that the claim would be coming to an around October, but we were told it could be as early as December or as late as next August. They also told us that Martyn must have another operation in the very near future, There looking at October He will be having a frame put onto his right leg at the top. He has already had an Ilizarov frame, this 2nd one is on a smaller scale.

It just feels like everything is being thrown at us at once. Luckily the owner of the house has now said she is very happy for us to stay in the house for as long as we need now. Which means we no longer have to worry about looking a new house.

Sorry for going on and on. Feel a bit better now

Oh no what a terrible month you have had, everything bad always seems to happen at once! At least you dont have to worry now about finding another house, I know how annoying it is, I rented a house for 6 months and then the owner sold it and so I moved to another house and the owner sold that one as well! Im sorry about your nan, I hope she gets beter soon and thats bad luck about your husband, that operation sounds horrible

Feeling guilty, as I was bemoaning Diane saying we needed a new washing machine and the drum failing on Saurday.
Holiday savings are now a good few hundred pounds lighter
