I find myself wondering how much of the billion+ was spent on snail mail literature, USB drives, and duplicate copies of bands.
We have duplicate copies of bands. We have received 3 packages with mouse head USB drives in them over the last 5 months. We got multiple, heavy duty full color multi-page brochures, in duplicate and triplicate.
Just today, I got yet another thick multi-page mailer about APs and Fast Pass+.
We've stayed onsite in the last few months and although we have bands from those trips, I halfway expect to get another set of bands any minute now due to the APs we have.
It's like nobody in marketing or resorts knows how to query their database(s) to find out who already was sent the big USB package, etc. It's just not that hard to keep track of whether and when you sent a package, and not send the same identical thing out again, or at least not send it out again within 12 months of the first one. I want to tell them to stop killing trees and filling landfills with USB drives.
