It sounds like I need to get a job at Air Canada.
It, like anything else, has it's good and it's bad.
I love LOVE LOVE working for the airlines. I work 3 days per week (air transat), have all benefits of a full timer, and love it very much. I feel we are treatly exceptionally well. I worked for Air Canada, but strangely enough, I am happier where I am.
I mean, holidays are hard, we are open 24 hrs per day, 7 days a week. I no longer am at the airport, so we are closed XMAS DAY AND NEW YEARS DAY, that is it. THe first few years, while my seniority rose, I had to work a lot of holidays, but the $ is excellent. I now decide, if it works for my family, to work one or not.
It is a passion for myself. I love to travel, I love helping anyone else travel, lol, so it all ties together.
