Started out at 5:30 am when I got up to go to work. Teaching high school English this week. Teacher's wife just gave birth to a baby girl and mother and daughter are fine. KIds were great. I have the bad class tomorrow.
Samantha picked me up at school because Jim had to go to a meeting. GOt home and sat down at the computer and my back started to spasm. Ouch. I had to lay down. So Samantha comes in and wants to talk and then she lays a bombshell on me. Her boyfriend Jorge has asked her to marry and she has accepted.
Last thing I expected. Now we have to tell Dad. Oh, oh.
While Jim was driving home he decided to pull off because traffic was so heavy. Good thing he did. Sprite called to tell him that she has a gas leak in her apartment. She came home to a wierd smell and couldn't find the dog and cat. She found them unconscious. Fortunately she was able to revive them. Whew! She is now staying at her prof's apartment until the apartment management gets the leak fixed. Thank God that she was able to revive the animals and that she wasn't there and died from the gas. She thinks it may have been going on for a bit and this time it built up enough to smell. Her gas bills have been higher than her neighbors and she wondered why.
Got my final arrangements for our WDW trip. MVMCP and CAndlelight here we come. I can't to get there and relax.
