Okay yesterday was quite a trying day of Motherhood for me. My daughter was in her step and play piano when I smelled that wonderful odor of a stinky diaper. So I lifetd her out to notice that her diaper leaked and that lovely mess was smeared down her leg ( gross I know). So I stripped her and stood her up outside the tub while I filled it. She then proceeded to pee all over the floor then look at me like I did it! Later she sneezed with a mouthful of baby food! Oh joy. Finally she has learned that her finger fits up her nose! UGHHH

Isn't being a Mom Great!!!!!

You definetely have to have a sense of humor at the end of the day, I always like to watch my DD sleep to remind myself how much she really means to me.

Hope today is better.

Sounds like you could use a "Calgon, take me away."

Yes, they look so sweet and innocent when they are asleep. :D

:o
Yep, just"yesterday" I was doing all that with my beautiful DS,and next month he is moving to an apt. with his friends! Enjoy these days!!!!!They FLY!

ya know what, when she is dating and in HS you are going to refect on those "no so Kodak moments" and wish for one minute that she was a little girl again, they grown right before your eyes.:D

When my DH was watching his 1 or 2 year old(at the time...now the kid is 21!) nephew, he had a diarrhea type accident down his leg and the whole bit. My DH stood him in the sink and used the sprayer to give him a little shower. Of course, you have to cleanser out the sink very well after that, but I thought it was pretty ingenious!

The joys of motherhood are never ending!;)

I feel your pain!!!!!!!!

When DD was about three weeks old - I was exhausted, cranky, etc. She woke up around 3am to nurse and needed a diaper change. When I took off her diaper, she "exploded" and pooped across the changeing table - across the doorway - and all over the door!

I just stood there dumbfounded and called DH - who proceeded to run down stairs for the tape measure, because he could not believe a baby could poop that far!

To this day - I crack up whenever I think of that - even though at the time I sobbed!

As others have said - these days will be gone before you know it! Enjoy!
