Okay - after changing my dates no less than 6 times - just bought the airline tickets. I feel the ulcer in my stomach is starting to heal (such is the life of a Navy family).
DH's schedule will be difficult starting in October - so we eeked out just a few days in Sept to go. It will be a mini-family reunion with his family that lives in Florida.
We get to use our season passes, the last couple days on the Military Salute tickets, and the kids and I did GAD with Habitat for Humanity so they are excited to be able to use those as well.
Everything just came together... it is a short trip - and we won't be able to return til sometime in mid 2012, but everyone is SO happy.
He even has a leave chit in hand, signed off on... so it's a go!
