I booked flights with TCD for 16th Aug to 30th August some time ago. The cost of direct flights for 5 of us was £4177. I enquired about extending my holiday by 2 days and wanted to know how much extra I would need to pay. After a lot of messing around, I got the bargain figure of.....


£3070 extra!

So that would bring the total to £7000+ for a 16 night flydrive for 5 in August.
Needless to say, I passed on this fantastic deal.

Yes, and if I'm really canny, I could probably get expensive accommodation and food for an extra 2 days, so it would only cost me about 2 grand for each day.
