What’s for Dinner Tonight?

We're having chicken salad sandwiches made out of the leftover chicken from last night & served on the yeast rolls we bought earlier this week. (I'm trying to use up everything I can, before we leave again.) We'll both have celery w/ blue cheese dressing on the side. DH will also have fries.

Grilled cheese, a holiday donut and a peppermint mocha latte iced from Timmies.

Made Mandarin chicken soup with Asian veggies and shrimp-pork wontons. Tomorrow, I’ll add the noodles.

This week cannot end soon enough. We had grilled cheese with clam chowder, my mom made the chowder so it was easy to pull together.

First coat of paint is up in the dining room. Looks so much lighter and brighter! I have curtains #4 arriving tomorrow. I miss stores. I need to see curtains.

Now that it's cooler, I'm making a large pot of some soup/chili/stew each week so we can have 2-3 meals from it. Tonight is red beans and rice:

We have soup once a week in winter too....it was last night.

Tonight is freezer, DH wants Chicken Enchiladas. Me.....not sure yet. Maybe Chicken Cordon Bleu.

DH had to go on a quick roundtrip, business trip today, so the company is treating us to sushi rolls for dinner tonight.

After stopping by a job site tomorrow, we're off to spend Thanksgiving week with DS. Dinner will be on the road.

Today I’m almost finished cleaning out the fridge. Took some roasted chicken slices and added them to chicken broth, cilantro, spinach leaves and bok choy. In another pot had Chinese long egg noodles and added them to the soup. Love cooking with a small amt of pots!

We usually order out on Fridays. Well the pizza was gonna take an hour… no thank you. I was starving! And I got home late bc I needed to bring my dad to an appointment so DH made burgers and tater tots.

Went with my sister in law to the movies to see Part 2 of Wicked. So I had popcorn Reese's Pieces and Coke zero with cherry vanilla flavor (Freestyle machines at the theater). Stopped at the grocery store on the way home to get a few things to get us through the weekend - well, More like getting my husband through the weekend, because I am working 3 16's so I won't be home much until Tuesday morning. So I picked up a frozen pizza for when he got home from work. (It was good, Digiorno Stuffed crust)
