What’s for Dinner Tonight?

Well yesterday was finally my last day of school!!!!
Last day tradition is we all go to this bar that’s on a dock. It’s a lot of fun I had a couple of drinks, but the food isn’t very good so a new Mexican place opened across the street. I had quesabirria- short rib quesadillas and a strawberry margarita. It was delicious. Definitely going back with DH.

Last night was take out grinders... toasted Italian for me and steak and cheese for the hub.

Tonight? I need to go grocery shopping today and will see what pushes the sale tasty button , likely salmon.... and the pierogis that I need to cook still

Thursday, mini roast beef sliders with au jus and pasta salad as a side.

Yesterday we finished off the pasta salad and grilled brats dogs.

Today the plan is Hawaiian chicken, coconut rice, and grilled steak/peppers/onion skewers for those who aren’t a fan of the chicken. It’s my first time trying the Hawaiian chicken and coconut rice recipes.

Just got back from a little beach time at the lake with our little grandson. We had lunch…or I should say, DGS and I had lunch at the snack shack. Hubby wanted to eat at home. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and my little buddy had chicken tenders and fries. I took out sirloin burgers to defrost to grill for later, but I’ll probably be just cooking since I’m full!!!

Day two of phish. Touring is weird as it’s a bunch of people we are coordinating and it’s like herding cats.

Anyway English muffins for breakfast and a grilled cheese for lunch. Lots of carbs but it’s probably all I’ll eat today.

It was a success! We’ll keep it in the rotation. I didn’t tell dh that the rice was coconut rice. I thought he might have a preconceived notion about it if he knew. He said he was glad he didn’t know, because that’s exactly what he would have done. But he loved it. So did dd.

Last night I tried the crock recipe.
Potatoes, chicken, buffalo wild wing Parmesan garlic sauce, heavy cream and cream cheese. We both liked it.

Tonight DH made chili with pork sausage.

Last night we went out for fried clams, clam cakes and “chowda”. We sat by the water it was glorious!
