What’s for Dinner Tonight?

It's 8pm and we are just wrapping things up here at work. I've been awake since 4:15am and in addition to working all day, I kid-sat for 3 hours and walked 2 miles. I'm tired, so we are picking up pizza on the way home. I intend to eat it while watching TV, on my bed with my feet up!

Last night, Prosciutto E' Melone, Carpaccio Di Manzo, 2 cups of soup (pasta e fagioli & lentil w/ ground Italian sausage) & Spaghetti con Salsiccia. (Obviously, most of this was copied from the menu on the website. I'm not that fancy. )

Tonight, chili cheese hotdogs & onion rings

Last night I grilled some pork chops and served those with mashed potatoes and peas.
Tonight while we watch the NFL draft, we’ll munch on homemade Italian paninis and some chicken wings and potato salad that I picked up from the deli around the corner. And I made a fruit salad. The pineapple smelled so good as I was walking past it today I couldn’t pass it up. I detest melon, so my fruit salads consist of pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, red grapes and today I added kiwi.

At the a work function. Cheesy chicken (yuck), with creamy mashed potatoes, and well seasoned veggies. Perk of being the office who hosted the event, bringing home leftovers for the kids.

The place just opened up a month or so ago. The Destin, FL location is our go-to restaurant when we're there. Thought we'd try this one and see how it compares. They also have a location @ Pensacola, FL.

Tonight I'm going out for a carvery/roast dinner. Not usually my go to when it comes to going out for food however we're going to a local pub that I haven't been to in over a decade (because it became a carvery). Just need to try and resist the desserts!

Grabbed some sushi and sashimi from Whole Foods today while food shopping. Been sooo long since I had any rice and I’m really enjoying it.

Fish and chips. LOTS of food and reasonable prices. We were impressed, and would highly recommend.

It's an absolutely bee-you-tee-full warm spring day here and after working 2 hours late, I gave in to the whimsy of stopping at Dairy Queen on the way home. We're having ice cream for supper! Diners can choose from a Dilly Bar or a Buster Bar - I'm probably having both!
