What’s for Dinner Tonight?

Tonight will be edamame noodles with meat sauce and green salad. Ice cream for dessert.

Sorry for all you dealing with cold and snow.
Here it is the opposite, by the end of the week we'll be in mid-high 80's.....not ready for that. We want a little more winter here
If you can provide a forwarding address I'll see if I can arrange delivery. So bitterly cold here again. Winter just needs to vamoose already, so if I can help it along by providing it a destination I shall do so.

Need inspiration for tonight's dinner. I did pick up asparagus so I can participate in the fiesta you've all been having with it, but I don't think I can spin it as the only item on the menu tonight. Although I wouldn't be too heartbroken over it.

I wish we could add about 20 degrees to yours and take them off ours......but them in summer you have take at least 20 of ours again
 
I think I’m doing an egg salad sandwich and soup tonight. Just home from helping a girlfriend all day and want to keep it simple. I like dill in my egg salad. 🥚🌿Any one else?
I’ll give dill a try the next time I make egg salad. I know it’s great in potato salad 🙂.
Bought a rotisserie chicken from WF the other day and finally decided what I’ll do with it. Today it’ll be curried chicken salad aka Coronation Salad served in a lettuce cup. That’ll take care of about half of it with ease; love that!

My inner Goldilocks won't allow me to reciprocate. I like it when temperatures, and humidity, are "just right".

I think I've landed on chunking up some chicken breasts and seasoning them sort of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean style and grilling them up in the cast iron. Asked DH to pick up some garlic sauce from a Middle Eastern restaurant on the way home to top the chicken and I'll make up some rice pilaf for a side -- along with some roasted asparagus :love:.

It’s our anniversary and we got married in Mexico so I made tacos. Best I could do on a Tuesday after being in the office today.

I’m hoping Sheetrock will be done by the end of the week and maybe flooring next week. Thinking we are about a month out.

Happy Anniversary!!! It is frigid at home. Happy to be in Florida but worry about my poor MIL taking the dogs out.
 
Our hotel restaurant had an incredibly limited menu tonight, but that's okay. By the time we got here, we were over being out in the cold for the day & didn't want to go back out. We ordered a charcuterie plate & cold wrap. (They only had 5 options that were all cold foods. :confused3 ) We shared the charcuterie plate, which was very good, & ended up bringing the cold wrap to the room for me to have for lunch tomorrow. We also ordered a piece of strawberry cake "to go" that we may or may not eat tonight.
 
We had a couple menu items last night. The kids and I had chicken Alfredo and freshly baked bread. Dh will eat it, but isn’t really a fan so he got the one lonely shell steak I had hiding in the freezer. I made him some orzo with garlic butter and Italian seasoning, plus a a salad.
Tonight we’ll be having pork chops. Not sure what else as dh is doing the cooking tonight.
