What’s for Dinner Tonight?

Closer to normal temperatures on this end so less lethargy, yeah!

Popped open a jar of tuna (sensory explosion and vastly different from canned tuna) and made a salad Nicoişe.
Life should always be this slurpy good.

Grilled tuna with green beans and cucumber tomato salad. Green beans, cucumbers, and tomatoes are from the garden. My dad came by and picked green beans and I sent him home with tomatoes, bell peppers, and cucumbers.

We went out tonight. A Cajun inspired place in Louisville. Atmosphere and drinks were great. Food was ok. We were just in NOLA in March, though. It probably would have been hard to impress.

Anyone have any cherry tomato recipe ideas? I picked 2 pints yesterday and just picked a bunch more. Maybe a pasta with fresh tomato sauce?

Re: cherry tomatoes... They work well in a BLT salad, or with tuna salad, or cut in half/quarters in a pasta salad (or a zoodle salad), or halved or sliced and used in a wrap, or popped straight into your mouth...

My dad is back in the hospital so we came to my mom to keep her company. Dinner is her choice but she will most likely pick the diner. Which is fine by us. We have a menu planned for the rest of the week (we go back home after work tomorrow).
