Now that the new fridge is up and running, I made the macaroni salad I wanted to make for the holiday weekend, which will be accompanied by some nicely grilled hot dogs. Summer dining at its best!

I've got some tilapia to season and throw on the grill. Just some cous cous and salad on the side.

Salad Niçoise in a bowl with romaine lettuce instead of composed on a dinner plate.

I divided the strawberry sorbet into Talenti jars after the second purée ing to smooth the ice chunks. Added mint to one batch and basil to another. The remainder stayed pure berry. Now if I can just hold some of it until the 4th of July.

Tortellini with sauce was on the menu, but DH felt like grilled hot dogs so he's having that and I don't know (not a hot dog fan). Might do an egg on a croissant or just a grilled cheese (so basically just something super easy). No argument here for easy dinner. We can do the pasta tomorrow night.

Well, DH is having the ravioli with meat sauce. I'm taking some of the meat out before adding sauce and making myself a gordita instead, not feeling well and sauce will not agree with me tonight.

Left over from last night......Sweet and sour chicken....chicken sauteed with onions, carrots, bell peppers in sweet and sour sauce (from a jar.... ) served over rice.

You know it’s funny.
Not 15 minutes ago my home attendant walked in and asked what I was eating today and I said a garden burger.

And thennn I changed my mind deciding that the burger will become taco meat served on romaine lettuce with the regular fixings.
Really, same ingredients just served differently.

Last night was pasta, meatballs and Cesar salad. I skipped the pasta and added a tomato mozzarella salad to my meal. We are out of town for the weekend and I needed to use the tomatoes.

Out of town this weekend so tonight and tomorrow we will eat out. Sunday dinner will depend on what time DD’s team finishes up on Sunday. Unlikely that I will cook, but might be takeout when we get home or possibly drive through on the road.

Fridays are usually leftovers....we have none this week, so I will make DH Chilaquiles and I will have eggs, toast and sausage
