The entire software engineering group from my company was given the afternoon off to attend an offsite party that the company is throwing us to thank us for all the overtime we have put in recently.

Everyone left a half hour ago, everyone but me that is. I got an angry call from one of our most difficult clients this morning, so now I am stuck here writing an emergency patch for their code while everyone else gets to party.

I am not a happy hound.

Poor Hound...you sound like my DH. He is a QA tester and the expert on the country for two applications and it never fails, 5:45 on a Friday night, he will get a call from California with an emergency that has to be fixed asap Geesh
