WGP Express Vs WGP Cafe?

I know there are 2 WGP express restaurants in DTD and one of them is by the WGP cafe. The menu for the WGP express on the westside seems to have alot of the same menu items as the cafe so is it really possible to go to the express and order the macademia crusted chicken ?I was going to try at the WGP Cafe and only use a counter service meal? If so why would anyone even waste a TS at WGP Cafe? I think I read that the meatloaf and ravioli were excluded but is there any other exclusions?I know I really love WGP pizza so I know I'll be eating there at least once but if I could try some of their other great entrees I think I may be using alot of my CS credits there. I really think that WGP's express is the best choice of cs in all of WDW.Thanks for any info you can give me.

JJohnson, Just checked and both the Express versions of Wolfgangs are on the list from FAQ on the meal plan. We are staying at SSR, so were very interested in this info. Hope it's right.

I agree that WGP Express is the best CS meal at WDW! WGP Express has a subset of the menu that the Cafe does. They are not the same menu. They are both allowed on the DDP. I found the service at WGP Express fabulous... however, I've read that service can be hit or miss based upon who you get. My food was delivered to my table, and the waiter constantly came by to do drink refills.... it was better service than some TS places!

we have eaten at both the express and the one that is in the bar at the Cafe. Not sure if that is the cafe itself or not. But they are both good.

the express has really great BBQ chicken pizza if you are into that.

the cafe is pretty good. good pasta and chicken and good appetizers also.

Thanks for the great responses!!!! I will definetely eat a few meals at WGP
restaurants my next trip. Has anyone gotten or seen the macademia crusted chicken on the menu at the WGP Express?

We planned on eating at WPE on our last visit but the line was ridiculously long just to order. It went throught the restaurant, the table area and out into the walkway. As much as we hated to miss it, I just didn't want to wait that long for a meal. It was a wednesday May 2, 2007 around 6:00 and we kept checking back until around 8:30 when we decided to go back to the hotel to eat.
