lindsey! i loved your trip report! it got me so excited for my trip to the world in a week! i just hope my boyfriend is as forgiving about my obsession with disney as your hubby is about yours. unfortunately, i had to plan a day to universal just to appease him and hope that he actually would want to go with me down to florida.

WOW!! Those opening pictures were wicked awesome!! I love Minnie's red and white polka dot dress so much more than the not so pretty yellow one. I think the characters seem skinnier than they are now. Thanks for sharing.

Ok well I found this trip report a little late but I have really enjoyed it! I laughed so hard with the story about the little boy at Turtle Talk and saying what a bikini was for!!

Congrats on your house by the way I have always wanted to move to FL and work for Disney...maybe one day.

It was neat to read your DH is from Woonsocket, RI...I am from Smithfield not too far away, so I love seeing the "wicked" in your description. You will have to ask him if he "parks the car side by each" or asks "throw me down the stairs my shoes?"

Good luck with the move and your next wisdom teeth extraction. Just a word of advice...make sure you take pain meds before you go to bed as long as it is not within your 4 hrs mark even if you aren't having any pain so you don't wake up again in the middle of the night . I tell most of my pts that after they have surgery...that 1 or 2 am is a killer for pain.

I want to be Mary Poppins for Halloween this year....on my birthday on the Disney Magic...but so far I am not having much luck finding a costume on-line.

Hi Lindsey - I am still seriously loving your trip report and I get so excited by your moving updates that I feel like it's almost happening to me! Mega-cheesy, I know, but Disney magic is so very powerful!

Now they have the money to eat what they want and all they want! Mickey is a little rounder around the middle now. I guess that does come with age! He is still looking pretty good to me though! I needed that banana dance! I am tired over here and I have barely packed any thing! UGGGHHHH! Banana time!!!

I am so glad you have FINALLY found me and are enjoying me Trippie! I still got lots to go and I will be writing a new one pretty soon after I complete this one, so there is SO MUCH MORE to come! I'm excited just thinking about it!

I'll have to ask if DH knows about Smithfield or if he's been there. I know nothing about RI and I've only been there once. We went to Woonsocket and Providence, so I could see the sights. I loved hearing DH talk when I first met him. I mock him all the time in a sweet loving way! I don't even know how to type the way he talks! My favorite words are car, bar, beer, and yard.

Thank you for the luck on the move and my wisdom teeth! Thanks for the advice too! I plan on taking plenty of pain killers! I know I'm going to be feeling it around 3:00am when I am trying to sleep! Being in pain is no fun at all, but I'll have my parents take care of me. I gotta milk-it for all it's worth!

I'm not sure who Giuseppe is either! I was thinking maybe from "The Aristocats?" That's what first popped into my head. This is my first move out of the state of NC! But, it'll be my 7th move! It's time to get out of the state at this point!

Thank you so much! I am going to make sure to take a lot of pics once we get in the house of all the unpacking and decorating! I can't wait to share those with everyone! I will be posting pictures of the house before we leave on Tuesday! I took a few different shots of it because it was our first choice. I'm sure it'll look so much better once I get my hands on it! A Wicked Awesome DIS Encounter...AGAIN!


There was a little time left before the parade began, so a crowd hadn't formed around Main Street yet, so we decided to get outta there before that happened! I could tell DH was really in the mood to go on some rides and I wasn't in the mood to wait around on the parade either. We figured we'd catch some of it. I wasn't in the mood to deal with "certain people's" rude parade behavior. That's why I usually avoid parades and the first time I really wanted to see one in a long time was at MNSSHP. If you read my first Trippie about MNSSHP, you know what I'm talking about! I'm sure a lot of you have encountered rude guest behavior at parades too. It can totally ruin it for you!


We made our way over to Tomorrowland and were booking it to "Space Mountain"! We wanted to see if we could get Mickey to ride it again after the horrible incident a few days earlier, where we almost lost our little mouse! I was in total "Disney Zone" and speed walking to beat the crowds. Then, DH turned around and looked at me and said, "Isn't that your DIS friend?" I turned around and DH had already begun to yell "Hey!"

It was Lesley and her son, Tynan again! Our new DIS buddies!

Lesley was looking good in her Minnie Santa hat and MVMCP t-shirt with a cool print design she got from someone on the DIS! We chatted for a long time and got to know eachother pretty well. This is where we heard Lesley say "wicked" for the first time and DH freaked out! He was so happy to be with his people! Oh, and Lesley showed us these really cool buttons she made to give to special CM's, who give that extra Disney magic! They were so neat and such a wonderful idea! Tynan and DH also discussed and compared their scores on "Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin!" Too cute! DH may have beat Tynan, but by VERY little! DH was impressed with the competition! We also found out that Tynan was totally obsessed with the "Tomorrowland Transit Authority" and he was dying to go on it! We were holding him up, so Lesley and Tynan had to get going. I love this picture of us! Do you notice those extra two legs in the picture!? No, Lesley is not throwing her DS over the edge! Tynan was in total "I gotta get on the TTA mode," and had no time to turn around to smile for our picture. Lesley and Tynan are wicked awesome!

I am happy to report that we did get Mickey back on "Space Mountain," but he would not sit in the little net. He would only go on it if he could sit on my lap and he went on it twice in a row! What a brave little mouse! We were very proud of him! He wasn't scared at all! We decided it was time to take The Boys to one of the dance parties! Chip 'n Dale had a lot of energy they needed to get rid of! We made our way over to "Stitch's Cosmic Dance Party" at Cosmic Ray's. It was rockin' in there!

Alice & the Gang were there too! We were having a blast! We even got to "ride the wave" with Lilo & Stitch!

Sorry this is a short one! I'll have more really soon! It's almost time for it to snow in Florida!

Islands of Adventure is pretty neat. I went to the grand opening for all of the press with "The Rosie O'Donnell Show," but I have not been back yet! We were some of the first people to go on any of the rides. I got to see Rosie go on The Hulk and Steven Spielberg on Jurassic Park! It was an awesome day! We'll be having afternoon tea at the Garden View Tea Room at GF! I can't wait to go back! Have you started packing yet!? The countdown is on!

Yes, it really does snow in Florida!



Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party was sadly coming to an end. The nights of the special events always go by way too fast! It's amazing how fast 4 hours goes by when you're having fun! We got out so late that we didn't even have time to do any shopping on Main Street! The doors were all being locked up and they weren't letting anyone in. That's a first for us because usually we have time to do some quick last minute shopping.

As soon as we began our stroll down Main Street it began to snow! Yeah, I know it's not real snow, but it sure is pretty!

We did manage to get inside the Kodak Camera Shop! That was pure luck because we were the last group of people that made it in before they locked the doors behind us. We got to join the line of people and wait for 20 mintues to check out our Photopass pictures. We did buy two, so it was worth the trip! Plus, they still had some MVMCP items left in there, so I was able to still get what I wanted! I got a very cute picture frame with Mickey and Minnie by a Christmas tree.

DH, the Boys, and I had a magical night, but we did have to get back to our room at POFQ because we had more house hunting to do in the morning. We also had more Disney fun to look forward to!

Ty and I had a blast meeting you and DH also!! Actually, when your DH yelled "hey" to us we were in a rush also and I didn't recognize him at first. I thought he was just some guy likin' my hat. Tynan, a.k.a. Eagle Eyes, who always finds the hidden Mickeys, said "Hey, Mom, that's your friend."
"Ohhh!!" Then I turned back and yelled Hi back and we all stopped to chat and take a quick picture. I'm so glad we did!! Now I have new DIS friends, and a homie at that!
