Well, I think it's May 25th, 2007 ... The countdown is on alright!!! I hope you get to see the Black Pearl ....I hope you are thinking on Writing a trip report for that one too . I enjoy your reports so much. It helps me get ready to my trip...my come-back...and It helps to get my DB in the Disney Mood too ...I already convinced him of wearing Disney Crocs too (after seeing your photos) . And after seeing how much fun Chip, Dale and Mickey are having, we are thinking on taking our boys (Stitch and Jedi Mickey) with us too.

Anyways, keep them comming!

I will be writing my first Cruise Trippie, for sure! It's going to be a whole NEW experience for me! I'm still kinda confused and have no idea what to expect! I do know that I am already ready to plan a 2nd cruise and I haven't even been on my first yet!! I know...I'm crazy!

See what happens when I don't get to your thread, a whole ton of exciting news.

Anyway, I think I might extend my ticket from a 6 day to a 10 day when I am at the World in April for maybe your Oct. DIS meet. Isn't it like an extra $2.00 a day to add to MYW tickets. Then I'll have to find cheap airline tickets and stay at a value. I always say planning is just as much fun as being there.

I'll be at the MK on Sat. April 7. Stop on in on Saturday nite, my dd with her h.s. band from Wisconsin will be leading the parade. I made my own t-shirt to wear that day. It is a Lime green Mickey Head-and it say's, Making Magical Memories.

HAHA! I know! I have something new and exciting to report every day! You must keep up!

What a great idea! Yes, you'll save A LOT of money by extending the days on your ticket, but make sure to also add the "no expiration" on it!

Tom Sawyer's Island

DH & the Boys were ready to get to Tom Sawyer's Island! DH couldn't wait to get on one of the rafts to transport us over to the island. We, of course, were there right when the raft left, so we had to wait for everyone to unload and then for the raft to come back and get us.

We made our way onto the raft and had to cram in, so we could fit all the people! Our raft driver started up the raft and was about to go on his merry way across the water, but one of the CM's on the island started freaking out!

His arms were flying all over the place and he was going crazy! Well, it was because the Liberty Belle was on it's way. It was going way too slow for it to hit us or get near us, but I guess he wanted to be EXTRA careful, so we had to wait for the Liberty Belle to slowly pass us before we could make it over to Tom Sawyer's Island!

We FINALLY made it over to Tom Sawyer's Island and boy did it bring back some memories! I hadn't really been over to the island in years! I started to have flashbacks of me as a little kid running around the Fort.

The Barrel Bridge was by the best part for DH and me! DH kept running back and forth laughing and turning around to laugh at me because it was not easy to walk across that bridge in a pair of Crocs!! Plus, my Crocs were getting all bent, so I didn't want to run across and then I would have fallen...haha!

Then, I saw it...the Fort!! I totally pictured my brother and I running around there when we were little.

Of course, guess what DH and the Boys noticed first!? That's right! The guns! DH didn't realize they shot off and made noise, so when he pulled the trigger he jumped back because he was so startled by the noise.

Do you see how serious he is about this!?

After DH had finished his shooting, of course, Chip 'n Dale had to be just like DH and try it out too! I swear, we spent about 15 minutes up there in the hide-out area shooting off fake guns! Boys will be boys with their toys!

DH kept me and the Boys over at Tom Sawyer's Island for a hour! DH just loved it and was obsessed witht he place! I swear he was a kid again! He kept saying, "Man, this is the bast place at Disney! I can't believe I'd never been over here before!" DH spent time crawling around in the caves with Chip 'n Dale, while Mickey and I stayed behind because we were not enjoying playing around in the dark, mainly, because DH kept jumping out behind corners and scaring us half to death!!

It was around mid-afternoon by this time and it was getting pretty hot outside from the sun beating down on our backs, so I decided it was time to get out of the woods. We waited for the raft to return to pick us up and DH had to examine everything on the raft. He was lifting up the hidden areas where the life-jackets were and he was messing with the ropes. I had finally found out where to take DH to make him happy!!

Yes, I was at the last day of Star Wars weekends this year. The last day was the first day of our Disneymoon, so we went to MGM first, of course!
My DH has never even seen Star Wars! I know! What a wierdo!!
He got pretty into it seeing me so happy though! What a great way to spend your Honeymoon, right!?

We are only going on a 4-night cruise, so no Western or Eastern for me, not yet anyway! I am dying to go on a 7-night next year to see the Magic decorated for Christmas! I bet it is so beautiful!! I know you're going to have so much fun! You're going on the New Year's Cruise then, right!? Wow! That's going to be ana amazing and magical time! You have to make sure to tell me all about it and post pics! I am still clueless on this whole cruise thing, so I need advice and tips!

Oh, I thought you'd enjoy this picture! Yes, this is me...errr...um...humping Mickey!? DH wasn't paying attention and turned around and yelled..."Why are you humping Mickey!?"

No...really...I was just attacking him because he stole my Jedi Mickey stuffed animal!! We had this big fight, but we got over it and kissed and made up with some applause from the audience, I might add!

The Boys are driving me crazy!


I was ready to sit down and take a rest, but Mickey would have no part of that! Mickey decided that it was time to go on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad! He couldn't wait to go on it for his first time! His favorite ride is Space Mountain, so I knew he could handle this! I had promised him, so I knew I couldn't say no!


We booked it over to Frontierland and guess who we ran into!? Well, guess who almost ran into us?!

Howdy Woody!!

DH and I wanted to watch the end of "Woody's Round-Up Show," but no! Mickey said we could not stop because we had to go ride the train right away! Mickey had been very patient with DH on Tom Sawyer's Island, so we did owe him!


We got in line and Mickey was pumped! We lucked out and got to sit in the first train car! Mickey was so happy he got up front because he wanted to be by the engine!

Then, I realized Big Thunder Mountain Railroad had a special seat for Mickey just like Space Mountain! I was so excited to see this because I knew this would be one of Mickey's top favorite rides!


Mickey got situated in his special seat and we were ready to go!

AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Mickey just loved Big Thunder Mountain, but he still said he liked Space Mountain better!


Mickey finally agreed that we could all sit-down and take a break. We were ready for some Disney snacks!



As we were leaving Frontierland, Mickey spotted Brer Fox in the corner and said he wanted to meet him! Mickey wanted to ask him why he was always so mean to Brer Rabbit on the Splash Mountain ride?

I asked Chip 'n Dale if they wanted to go meet Brer Fox too and they said no! What!? Chip 'n Dale said unless they were seeing "Big Chip 'n Dale" again, they were not interested!

Can you believe those two little Boys!? All they did was complain when Mickey got to meet everyone at MNSSHP and now I bring them all the way to WDW, and now they have no interest! Oh well! I guess only "Big Chip 'n Dale" will do for them!


Well, DH, Mickey, & I decided we DID want to meet Brer Fox and went over to see him. He looked pretty lonely over there because there was no one in line to see him! Mickey felt bad for him too and said he needed a friend. Mickey also figured out that must be why he is always bugging Brer Rabbit because he wants to be his friend. Awwww...what a sweet little mouse I have! We spent some time talking with Brer Fox and Mickey also made sure to give him a hug!

It was then FINALLY time for me to get my Disney snack! I had heard wonderful things about the Strawberry Swirls from my fellow DIS'ers and wanted to try it out! We made our way over to the Enchanted Grove to get this Strawberry Swirl I have heard so much about it! I even heard it was better than the Dole Whips! I didn't think this could be possible!

We got in line and got our special Disney treats and sat down to take a short break from our busy day!

Now, the Strawberry Swirl was good, but better than a Dole Whip!? I don't think so!! It is very sad for me to report that I did not get my all time favorite, Dole Whip Float, during this trip! That's just so wrong!

I do have a C3PO watch and a talking Darth Vader head! I also have the movie posters all framed on my walls! When I was younger I had a huge poster of Han Solo in my room! I made sure to get the Star Wars Weekend t-shirt and poster too, but I haven't been able to display it yet! I can't wait to totally DIS out the house! I know! My DH really is "out of it!" I'm trying to do my best to get him with the program, but it's going to take awhile!!
