The Liberty Belle is back in action!

I really wanted to make this trip a CLASSIC Disney Vacation for all of us! I was so happy to know that the Liberty Belle was back and better than ever! DH and The Boys were so excited about getting to go on Liberty Belle! They were even more excited than I was!

The Liberty Belle had just left the loading dock, so we decided to wait around and enjoy the beautiful Disney day before she returned to pick us up!

DH and The Boys noticed Tom Sawyer's Island across the way and freaked out! They had never noticed it before and really wanted to check it out! I had been to Tom Sayer's Island a few times before and I thought it would be a great idea to go show The Boys! I knew it would probably wear them out for the rest of the day!

The Liberty Belle made her return to pick us up and DH was thrilled to be on the water again! He was acting like a 4-year old on Christmas morning! The Boys decided they wanted to go all the way to the top, so up the stairs we went!

Daniel and Dale were enjoying looking over the sides of the boat and making me very nervous! They decided they wanted to stay to the back of the Liberty Belle because they had never seen anything over there before, but have already seen the MK side before.

We also saw a family of moose during our travels!
Well, okay...they're not real, but don't let Chip 'n Dale know!

Mickey saw Big Thunder Mountain as we passed it and he said he had to go on that ride!!

DH and The Boys loved the trip on the Liberty Belle! It was so relaxing and such a wonderful way to really enjoy what Disney is all about! It doesn't always have to be crazy and fast-paced. I was glad I was able to let The Boys see that!

Okay...I can't seem to find any released dates for MNSSHP next year. Maybe they aren't released yet or I'm just missing them!

Do you think this would be the best time to plan a DIS meet or some other time? I just thought MNSSHP would work out the best for a fun party and dressing up, of course!

I dont think there released yet for 07. the ones for 06 were released in april or may.

I think mnsshp would be a blast to go to as a group! Plus its another draw to have us meet up! I know going to this is something ive never done and i would love to!

I would love to go around the holidays too but i think thats kind of crazy for everyone. and plus i cant get time off work

I'm going to start a post on the "DIS Meets Board" to get the word out there and going!

We've got 10 months to get DIS'ers together and make plans, so this may just work and become BIG!

I had to laugh when you said your DH said that your DIS friend looked 'normal' On our 10-Day Holiday cruise DH was VERY reluctant to go up to the DIS meet "You've been on-line with 'these people' for how long???" He was very positive once he went to the meet and saw that they were normal people too Why wouldn't we be normal??? I'm a DISer too.....(maybe that isn't a good example.... ...) He still talks about how nice they were and how fun it was to see people around the ship to wave to and chat with!

Looking forward to more about the trip!

It was gone when we were there in May too. I can't remember now if it was back when my Mom and I were there in October or not. Hmmmm... Either way...we didn't go on it, so I was so glad to see it and go on it this trip! It had been years! It really took me back to my childhood trips at Disney! I'm so glad I could share it with my little ones this year, Mickey, Chip, & Dale...haha!

You're in Charleston, no way! Most of our friends from undergrad live there so we go there all the time. While I'd LOVE to live there, it's just too expensive, and DF needs to be near the mountains I told him I'd live wherever as long as he buys me a DVC and a beach house one day I'm not holding my breath on the latter...

Lindsey, what a great idea for a DIS meet for MNSSHP! That would be soooooo much fun! DF and I were thinking of planning a WDW trip at the end of Sept 07. What date were you all planning on going? I guess I should check-out that thread!

I've got the Mickey pirate hat too and I am ready to wear it on our Disney Cruise! I can't wait for Pirate Night! Can it get any better than that? Do you know the exact date the movie will be coming out? We'll be cruising mid-May, so it'll be around that time too! I hope I'll be able to see the Black Pearl at Castaway Cay!

Well, I think it's May 25th, 2007 ... The countdown is on alright!!! I hope you get to see the Black Pearl ....I hope you are thinking on Writing a trip report for that one too . I enjoy your reports so much. It helps me get ready to my trip...my come-back...and It helps to get my DB in the Disney Mood too ...I already convinced him of wearing Disney Crocs too (after seeing your photos) . And after seeing how much fun Chip, Dale and Mickey are having, we are thinking on taking our boys (Stitch and Jedi Mickey) with us too.

See what happens when I don't get to your thread, a whole ton of exciting news.

Anyway, I think I might extend my ticket from a 6 day to a 10 day when I am at the World in April for maybe your Oct. DIS meet. Isn't it like an extra $2.00 a day to add to MYW tickets. Then I'll have to find cheap airline tickets and stay at a value. I always say planning is just as much fun as being there.

I'll be at the MK on Sat. April 7. Stop on in on Saturday nite, my dd with her h.s. band from Wisconsin will be leading the parade. I made my own t-shirt to wear that day. It is a Lime green Mickey Head-and it say's, Making Magical Memories.
