We've finally decided on CSR...

I think all along we were going this way but after review's of Buzz's site again along with Tour Guide Mike's (and of course all the info from this board) we made the final decision.

I also decided to go with DU and e-mailed them our information. As soon as the 08 packages come out they are going to get started on our reservation. I already love them for the responsiveness.

We know we'll try different resorts each visit and look forward to this.

I did not realize there was a little store at CSR (La Tienda?) that sells yogurt, sandwiches, etc. And didn't realize there was a steam room in the gym. I found the pics on TGM's site last night.

I hope to find time to use the gym treadmills and watch the news before starting my day (this is my routine at home). It's such a pretty resort that early morning runs would be nice. We get such an early start that I'm not sure if this will work out. Honestly I just like the time alone.

Anyway I love how helpful this board is and how much time I've saved and the planning tips. My dh did not believe I was going to let a travel agent do the reservations but I am. Doesn't mean I won't have my binder, plans, etc.

10 months does not seem long. June 08 will be a new time of year for us! We've been at X-Mas and late September.

Thanks again everyone (especially Buzz's website).

Great choice! Enjoy your trip!! Though in June, I don't thin you'll need the steam room.

Actually I live in a steamy southern climate and enjoy the steam room after exercise. Guess I'm just used to it!

I probably won't do it but like the option. Might just sit at the tables and drink coffee for the downtime!

Thanks Buzz for all the info on your websites.

I just booked a trip there for Dec for my DD's 16th birthday..It's a great resort

Based on Buzz's site and other comments here, we too have decided to give CSR a try! We will be staying a few days before and after our cruise in May 2008. I like having a small lake or some sort of water near our resort, and Buzz's photos make this resort look very inviting.

Just returned from CSR at the end of June and absolutely loved it! :thumbsup2 Have a wonderful time!!

You're going to love it! The first time I ever went to WDW I was totally clueless, did no research. It was only a weekend to see the holiday decorations (after all, we're grownups, there wouldn't be anything else we'd want to do! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: ) A very helpful CM suggested CSR for me and got me a FL resident rate. Disney knew what they were doing hiring him, he got me hooked! I thought about somewhere else for our Spring '08 trip but I'm pretty sure it'll be CSR again.

It is a really nice resort, but found it just too big for us to get around. A round trip walk from our room to get coffee in the a.m. took 20 minutes going at full speed. I think if you were going to spend a good amount of your time hanging out at the resort, it would be different. We are always in a hurry, although the last day hanging out at the pool before our 5 hour drive home was very relaxing..we didn't want to leave.

We are go in 26 days to CSR to celebrate my 50th (which isn't until December) and my recent successful breast cancer surgery. Can't wait to be back at the Coronado and Disney.
