Hurrah - we have booked for feb 09

We are staying for 4 days/3nts at Santa Fe.

We have not stayed here before so will welcome any hints or feedback from those who have.

Have not told the children yet and will try to hold out for as long as possible before we do. I am not the best at keeping these things to myself as I get sooooooooooooooooo excited so I will keep you informed as to how long I last before I burst

I really like the Santa Fe - I'll be back there for my 3rd visit to the hotel in October.

Congratulations!!!

My only 2 bits of advice for the Santa Fe are to get as early breakfast as you possibly can and also to try walking into the park at least once. Last time we went we walked to and from the park everyday and we were always there before people who had gone on the bus! It only took us about 10-15 mins (minus children though) and the bus was taking 15-20 if there was one availiable immediatly

I enjoyed the santa fe on the first trip we ever done but last time it was a real let down........sorry.

one problem i found was that people were smoking down the end of the hotel corridors outside but with the doors open and the strong smell of smoke blew down the corridor and came into the room.......we was right in the middle too. Also the hotel seemed to have a ridiculous amount of chavs staying at it. i hate chavs.

never going to stay there again.

we have also booked ,for 26th january for 3 nights at santa fe. this is just a spur of the moment booking as we are going to florida oct 09 so we thought we would keep it a secrect and surprise the kids the morning we go.

well we booked last thursday and were so excited we told the kids on the friday!!

I liked the Santa Fe, breakfast was civilised and the scrum i heard about for the buses to the park where non exsistent tho diff story on the way back.
