Wet Suit Sizes? Dc

I was wondering what size the wet suits go up to? My sisters quit a large lady and is it a total panic that the wet suits will not fit.

Can anyone help.

I would call or e-mail and just ask them. I was concerned about them not having toddler wetsuits so I just called and asked. They asked me my dress size when handing out the wetsuits, so she can tell them exactly what size she needs and see if they have them.

DD and I did DC TFAD last year. In our group there were 3 quite large ladies - I'm not small at a 16, but I would guess them size 22 - 26. They did not wear wetsuits, but the vests of wetsuit material which were provided. It was either/or. I saw many people even larger than these three who also wore vests. I think the wetsuits only went to womens 18 or so.

I read on another web site that the suits go up to a size 5X. I don't know if that's a special size for wet suits or what. If you find out please post as I'd like to know this as well .

BTW: What is TFAD?

I just called. The wet suits as well as life vests go up to a size 12X. I asked what that meant and the lady (not very friendly) said "small, med., lg. xl. 1x, 2x, etc. I said does that mean a lady who wears a US size 22 will be able to wear a wet suit? She said yes. I also asked if you could bring flippers. No flippers allowed in the park. Hope this helps others with the same question!
