Can any of you DIS'ers give an all around review of this place? We will be visiting after our Disney Cruise in later November (the week of Thanksgiving)
We have visited Disney water parks but are anxious to experience this place! Will it be crowded regardless that week? (or with weather play a major role?)
Is it worth it?
Any tricks or hints? Can I bring in a backpack with a few essentials for the kids? Do they have lockers and/or is our stuff at risk of getting ripped off since it is not DISNEY? I felt safer about our valuables at Blizzard Beach....don't know why....maybe just our ignorance! :confused3

Yes, you can bring backpacks.

Yes, they have lockers.

We never bothered with the lockers and all our stuff was fine. Of course we left the wallets in the car locked up though, and just brought some cash in.

Just get there early so you can claim a spot in a shaded area.

FWIW, my kids enjoy Wet n Wild more than Blizzard Beach.

Never been that late but we always take a cooler in with sandwiches & drinks, although the fast food is a bit cheaper than WDW.The rides are good but nothing as high as Summit Plummit also it is NOT Disney, don't expect nice landscaping etc some parts of the park looked like they needed a lick of paint on our last visit!
Sd :)

Wet n Wild has been around for a long time. I remember going to Wet n Wild as part of my senior class trip back in 1988.

We went back in 2002 or 2003 (can't remember) and it was great. No problems. I know it was when the Storm ride was new.

There is a lot to do there.

Thank you for the info! On their web site they say no outside food or beverages (or coolers) so I wasn't sure?

Jeez, Cindy B.....you have posted on the DIS boards over 15,000 times? OMG! :scared1: Now, you are one busy DIS'er! :cheer2:
You must have started right after your senior class trip to Wet N' Wild back in 1988! :teeth:
