Hi, I have been reading the reports about Aquatica and the lack of shade that appears to be at the park.

I have been considering a water park this year and have 2 children - aged 8 and 4 so need to go somewhere with plenty of shade. Has Wet n Wild got plenty of shade?

Any help is great.

I would love a link to anything Aquatica. . . I can't seem to find hardly any information on this park. So, if you've got any references, that would be great.

Also, I do know this. . . you can rent a cabana at Aquatica to ensure plenty of shade all day long without worrying about the sun moving your shade around :thumbsup2

Sea World has put up billboards on 408 this week and with the park opening next weekend (March 1) we will all know more then. :thumbsup2

Its been a couple of years since I visted wet and wild but they had a lot
of places that are covered, should not be a problem.

Not much shade at Wet n Wild,if you want shade go to Typhoon Lagoon. You can go there on a mostly sunny day and the amount of trees will prevent you from getting burned.Wet n Wild is a really good park with more thrilling waterslides so if you have kids I would suggest Typhoon lagoon or even Blizzard Beach. Can't give you info on Aquatica since it opens next week, but it looks like it'll have a nice mix of thrills with other attractions, here's a link.

Aquatica looks pretty impressive. It has been a while since my last visit to Wt N Wild, but I dont believe there is much shade, at all.

There is practically no shade at Wet 'n Wild but the pictures of Aquatica show lots of trees. I guess next week will tell the tale. :thumbsup2
